This is a modern version of the classic 4 color splatter technique, this time doing everything in mixing before we get to the shader. You can control the metalness, roughness and bump going into the shader along with sending a joined displacement into the shader output from the 4 Color Stencil node group.
This was made to work with Eevee and Cycles. You will need to preprocess your image textures to get the required textures of spec and displacement.
